Kettlebell Instructor Courses

The Register of Kettlebell Professionals currently have three different kettlebell training courses to meet the increased demand for instructor courses. These courses are all designed a bit differently because of each course's objectives. The objectives for each class vary slightly although all courses focus on proper kettlebell movements.

Level 1

The Level 1 Kettlebell Instructor Course is designed for the person who has little or no experience in kettlebells. During this course, the objectives of the class are to help an individual master the general and sport benefits of kettlebells. This kettlebell instructor training course is a 2 day course which is very physically demanding. Class members will learn how to execute 30 complex movements as well as be able to identify faulty movements and how to correct them.

This instructor course begins with discussing information about kettlebells. Each class member will be taught how to use the kettlebell effectively as well as identify if kettlebell use is the appropriate workout for particular clients. Students in this class will be able to take the basic kettlebell movements and put them together in a circuit designed to give clients a specific workout focus.

Level 2

The Level 2 Kettlebell Instructor Course builds from the Level 1 course. This course is another 2 day course and is just as physically demanding. The primary difference between these two courses is the Level 2 course is aimed at the fitness professional who desires to work with athletes. In other words, this course is more focused on creating kettlebell circuits focused on strength and power. This course is designed to help a fitness professional become a coach and use kettlebells in a coaching method. An instructor who completes the Level 2 training course will be able to put together more complex circuits with more intense movements.

Kettlercise

This course is one of the newer kettlebell instructor courses offered. Class participants of this course will learn the basic movements of kettlebell fitness and have a foundation of how to put these movements into a fitness program successfully. Class participants who complete Kettlercise will be able to hold Kettlercise classes at their local gym. These classes allow a trainer to work with a group of people instead of one on one and carry out kettlebell fitness in a class setting
